What Materials Does TGT Studios Use?

..........TGT Studios exclusively designs and builds with premium hardwoods. Most commonly, we use: black walnut, maple, purpleheart, bloodwood, paduak, rosewood, ebony, and cherry. Woods are selected for their aesthetic qualities with an emphasis on natural colour and interesting grain patterns. No woods are ever dyed, stained, or painted at TGT Studios as we prefer the beauty of each individual piece to speak for itself. Other materials used are steel, brass, copper, and glass.

Where Are The Materials Sourced?

..........Every piece in TGT Studios furniture collection is unique and built with sustainably harvested Vancouver Island timbers; in many cases the specific site of the tree is known. For example, the new TGT Studios River Collection features storm-downed canadian black walnut from an orchard in Comox, BC. This kind of quality, locally sourced, and unique material is a keystone of Kyle's work. Additionally, TGT Studios works with a local artisanal sawyer to process timbers of interest resulting in the most direct Tree-To-Table experience possible.

Where is TGT Studios? Where do we ship?

..........Kyle's studio & workshop is located just outside of Tofino, BC on the west coast of Vancouver Island. TGT Studios delivers worldwide however, with dozens of pieces delivered to Canada, the US, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Belgium, New Zealand, Australia, and multiple countries in the Middle East. Many clients purchase for their homes but Kyle has also designed and built multiple pieces for music venues, clubs, lounges, commercial retail spaces, and the stage.
